Recently, the internet was agog with comments (especially from bachelors and bachelorettes) who were either jealous, excited to participate in the news or wished to be in Banky’s and/or Adesuwa’s shoes.
It was reported that Olubankole Wellington (who is a Nigerian Rhythm and Blues singer, aka Banky W) and a NollyWood actress Adesua Etomi were getting married. The information was shared by Adesua on her Instagram page, where she announced her engagement to Banky.
However, while this is a good thing for the couple (since they are already married) – it is obvious that people can make issues out of nothing.
Among the comments and posts on the marriage, one says, “We need to deploy suicide-watch to third mainland bridge on this Banky W and Adesua’s engagement saga,” and yet, another one says, “Omo see nickname, susu, when will I have my own Banky W to give me a nickname”.
There was a post that specifically picked on UNILAG Students. The post opined that Banky’s engagement to Adesua will cause many students (especially females) to have heart attack, while another one admitted to the fact that Banky W had robbed him and other eligible bachelors – the opportunity to marry a beautiful bride like Adesua, saying, “When I am planning to save money and marry someone like Adesua, Bank W just took the advantage on me and other Eligible singles because of his fame and money to steal Adesua’s heart”.
The flashpoint in this article is to know what you need in life and be resolute to get them (in the most legal means), because what you think belongs to you (alone) might be a target of others: the first to move, tactically, will get it – there is no law that forbids that in this world.
We wish the celebrity couple a blissful home, in Jesus name.
