Having Jesus will definitely help you get sense

It is appalling, how some people (who claim to be Christians) fall below standard of who they are in Christ.

The biblical principle of being a Christian connotes ‘a person who is exercising authority in the affairs of this world’: spiritually, physically, emotionally, mentally, academically, matrimonially, materially, ministerially, morally and intellectually.

Unfortunately, a large number of so called Christians do not have an astute understanding of their standings in God – through Christ, so, they are like a reed tossed to and fro (by the wind) without rest.

The most annoying thing is seeing some Christians living uninformed life. For God’s sake, the technological, scientific and architectural advancements are (here) for our take! Why, then, should Christians lag behind in shaping the society when God (the Father of our Lord, Jesus Christ) had given us all things pertaining to life and godliness to enjoy?

God does not want half baked representatives on earth (as seen in the texts below)

And Moses said to the Israelites, See, the Lord called by name Bezalel son of Uri, the son of Hur, of the tribe of Judah;

And He has filled him with the Spirit of God, with ability and wisdom, with intelligence and understanding, and with knowledge and all craftsmanship,

To devise artistic designs, to work in gold, silver, and bronze,

In cutting of stones for setting, and in carving of wood, for work in every skilled craft.

And God has put in Bezalel’s heart that he may teach, both he and Aholiab son of Ahisamach, of the tribe of Dan.

He has filled them with wisdom of heart and ability to do all manner of craftsmanship, of the engraver, of the skillful workman, of the embroiderer in blue, purple, and scarlet [stuff] and in fine linen, and of the weaver, even of those who do or design any skilled work. Exodus 35:30-35, AMP.

In some churches, people are being taught not to dabble into things that are powerful than them: they are teaching people not to set ambiguous goals so that they will not develop hypertension.

Jesus! Every right thinking person must frown at such admonition (because it is a sort of limitations of goal settings). Whereas, the Bible says ‘God has not given us the spirit of fear, but of power, of love and of a sound mind’.

You cannot afford to be timid in the pursuit of your purposes on earth. If you were, you would not fulfill the scripture that says ‘whatever your hand finds to do – do it with all your might, because there is no work in the grave where you are going’.

Here is the extant of Christ’s representative

“And the Spirit of the Lord shall rest upon Him—the Spirit of wisdom and understanding, the Spirit of counsel and might, the Spirit of knowledge and of the reverential and obedient fear of the Lord”. Isaiah 11:2, AMP.

If you had become a disciple of Christ (indeed), there is no way that your life will not take after the list in the scripture above.

On this basis, your life cannot afford to be half baked because Christ had released all the power on earth and in heaven unto those that believe in His name.

Of truth, life is not a bed of roses, and being a Christian will not do the magic of turning difficulties into victories without personal efforts – yet, the life of a person who is truly born again cannot be worthless when such person is doing the needful.

It should be noted that having Christ in one’s life is (simply) referring to a state of being born again.

When you are born again, it means that you are saved from sins (by accepting Jesus Christ as Lord and Saviour), by which His finished works on the cross, in the grave and in ascending to the throne of grace (in heaven) will not be in vain (over your life).

So, you will get sense through the counsel, rebuke and guidance of the Holy Spirit.

Some people are locked out of this benefit

Anyone that does not accept Jesus Christ as the Lord and Saviour is condemned and does not have a part in Christ, until that person repents of his/her sinfulness.

Therefore, we encourage you to confess your sins to God and accept Jesus Christ as your Lord and Saviour, now.

It shall be well with you in Jesus name.

Shalom.
