The U.S. director of defence intelligence agency said he was in Nigeria to meet with the country’s top echelon armed force with a view to collaborate with them in the areas of security. He, also pledged to further support the Nigerian military to stop the Boko Haram terrorists from operating in the country’s territory.

Responding, Olonisakin appreciated the cordial working relationship between the U.S. and Nigeria, especially in military cooperation.

He thanked the United States for all the support the Nigerian Military had enjoyed from them, saying the gesture has contributed immensely to the success recorded against the insurgents.
