Without Christ frustration will kill anyone in this world

Majority of goal getters (all over the world) are not smiling, most people’s faces are filled with frowns rather than smiles.

People’s dreams, aspirations and/or desires have been dashed, plummeted or aborted: many (as they think) do not have a way of escape out their numerous troubles (may God help them).

Hence, frustration is taking the place of hopefulnessdespair taking the place of cheerfulness; and heartiness is replaced by shame – in many people’s heart.

Some Christians have forgot (so soon) that the situation in the world, aside from being humanly induced, will continue to nosedive (daily), as the LordJesus Christ, predicted in Matthew 24.

That explains why a number of people run from pillar to pole – looking for solutions that are within their reaches, but end up incurring more problems instead of their (so called) desired solutions.

The world won’t get any better

This we know by the lengthy prayers that Jesus offered on behalf of His disciples (to God) in John 17.

If you thought that this is bluffing, then check this out:

I am praying for them. I am not praying (requesting) for the world, but for those You have given Me, for they belong to You.

All [things that are] Mine are Yours, and all [things that are] Yours belong to Me; and I am glorified in (through) them. [They have done Me honor; in them My glory is achieved.]

And [now] I am no more in the world, but these are [still] in the world, and I am coming to You. Holy Father, keep in Your Name [in the knowledge of Yourself] those whom You have given Me, that they may be one as We [are one].

While I was with them, I kept and preserved them in Your Name [in the knowledge and worship of You]. Those You have given Me I guarded and protected, and not one of them has perished or is lost except the son of perdition [Judas Iscariot—the one who is now doomed to destruction, destined to be lost], that the Scripture might be fulfilled. [Ps. 41:9; John 6:70.]

And now I am coming to You; I say these things while I am still in the world, so that My joy may be made full and complete and perfect in them [that they may experience My delight fulfilled in them, that My enjoyment may be perfected in their own souls, that they may have My gladness within them, filling their hearts].

I have given and delivered to them Your word (message) and the world has hated them, because they are not of the world [do not belong to the world], just as I am not of the world.

I do not ask that You will take them out of the world, but that You will keep and protect them from the evil one.

They are not of the world (worldly, belonging to the world), [just] as I am not of the world.

Sanctify them [purify, consecrate, separate them for Yourself, make them holy] by the Truth; Your Word is Truth.

Just as You sent Me into the world, I also have sent them into the world.

And so for their sake and on their behalf I sanctify (dedicate, consecrate) Myself, that they also may be sanctified (dedicated, consecrated, made holy) in the Truth.

Neither for these alone do I pray [it is not for their sake only that I make this request], but also for all those who will ever come to believe in (trust in, cling to, rely on) Me through their word and teaching. John 17:9-20, AMP.

We can corroborate the above texts to the one in John 16:33, where Jesus encouraged the disciples to be of good cheers despite the troubles that they would face in this world, because He (Jesus) had overcome the world.

Christ will provide succour to those who believe in Him

The sole purpose of Christ’s coming into the world is to die for the remission of sin (of the humankind) and by it, reconcile us to God.

In the process,  Christ had to die and rise the third day – this process, just spoken of briefly, cost something dearly to  God, all in the bid to make everyone have a goodly heritage in  God’s  Kingdom by believing in  Jesus Christ as the  Lord and  Saviour.

For the records, your acceptance of Jesus Christ will not (automatically) remove the consequences of some of your actions of the past, but it will (surely) give you the right footing in the journey of life, thereafter.

Furthermore, before Christ departed this worldHe commended the disciples unto the Holy SpiritYou should note, at this point, that the word ‘disciples’ refers to the early disciples and everyone that believes in Jesus Christ, now.

Hence, the moment you accept Jesus Christ as the Lord and Saviour, the Holy Spirit have the oversight on your life. That is who Jesus called the Spirit of Truth whom the world cannot receive.

It is the Holy Spirit that won’t allow your circumstances to break you

As noted above, Christ had commended us (His disciples) to the Holy Spirit (to reveal all things to us, to comfort us, to guide and strengthen us).

Having received that mandate from Jesus, and being one of the Eternal God-head, the Holy Spirit continues to replenish our strength in the Lord. That is why anyone can say ‘the joy of the Lord is my strength’: the Holy Spirit helps us to find joy in the Lord.

On a final note, for the Holy Spirit to (fully) do His works in us, He needs our absolute cooperation. If, as Christians, we continue to live in sin after accepting Jesus Christ, the Holy Spirit will be grieved and we might be left at the mercy of the devil (although God forgives when we return to Him, it is always good to watch our conducts – to be in conformity with God’s standards, always).

God loves you

The death of Christ (on the cross) is to ensure that everyone is saved into God’s Kingdom.

After which we are no longer inclined to sinning, because he that is born of God does not sin.

Here is the call for you to give your life to Christ, right now, right there: confess your sins and weaknesses to the Lord (rededicate yourself to Him if need be).

Then, there are things you should observe:

·        Pray as often as possible.

·        Study the Bible daily.

·        Follow the leading of the Holy Spirit.

·        Seek to please God in everything you do.

·        Join the fellowship of believers.

God bless you.
